Moment in time
Some things just get lost
moment in time
Some things you may come back too; some things ya may forget
But these are just moments in time
So make em how you make
Cause one thing’s for sure and
that’s that they all end.
I always try to a leave a door open.
moment in time.
Ive seen a thousands place, kissed a thousands faces, found a lucky dollar bill.
I’ve drank golden wine, I’ve gambled with kings and left them broke, caught a fish fresh out the water wish and a whole chest of gold inside him spilled.
I’ve lost all my chips in reno; lost russian roulette and snuck out the back door, I’ve woke up mornings asking god for no more. I’ve seen the top and drank the juice, ive spent moments in the gutter eating bird crumbs too.
moments in time.
Ive seen so many things, lifetimes and lifetimes of different experiences have came, people have come and people will go.
moments of time.
And for the second it comes alive
Then were traveling the very next night
A moment in time.
So say goodbye.
Cause the lights are off
And the night’s been here.

Money don’t mean nothing
It’s just some paper created by another man
Who bleeds the same red blood as us
And before dinner he washes his hands,
And words; they don’t mean nothin’
Just something that rolls of your breath
Into the air, and takes some form
Of motion that meets my ear.
And fear is really nothing
There ain’t no fear inside of me.
Cause I know the only thing I can control
Is me, therefore I can only scare me
Keep it cool and walk the streets.
See the night and touch the sky
Remember you only live once, smile.
Return love once in a while
And baby you’ll feel free
You’ll feel free
But remember the caged bird hates to see you fly
So watch out for his shottys, 22s, and .45’s …

And how it effects me.” - Ian Curtis
We’re back at home in Nashville. This was a great tour, thanks to everybody in ghost dance, the people at french kiss records, fuzz nyc, cmj, audible treats, rj jennings, and everyone else who made cmj this year such a crazy-wild-fucking-awesome time. Can’t wait to play in new york again!
Theres a lot of change and new stuff going on in the bad cop world.
First of all Mikey Owen stopped playing guitar in Bad Cop. Alex Hartness is now playing lead guitar again. All is well, Mikey is a homie. Second, we will no longer be apart of ROIR records. I have been quite unhappy with them for sometime and decided to quit the label at the end of august 2012. I wish them the best as well, it just isn’t the place for me. I will be re releasing the original LP “Harvest The Beast” on JefferyDragRecords on 12” vinyl, in the original track order, with the interludes, and other tracks the label cut. This the way the record was suppose to be heard, not chopped up on cd. It should be out Summer 2013 and available internationally. Also, I am not quite sure what happened to Prince Cook, the “label” hosting our digital ep is no longer online? Their is still a link to download the tracks on mediafire, and the videos are all on youtube. We will also be releasing these tracks in a proper format as well! But we really can’t discuss details at this time. Just keep you’re eyes peeled if you enjoyed “I Can’t Slow Down” EP.
The recordings we been doing with Brad Shultz and Jeremy Ferguson are almost finished! Hopefully we will be able to show you guys some tracks soon! Our website “badcopmusic.com” should be back up too soon, we are re-doing everything on it. Hopefully you dig it.
